With Courage.

And when she turned, time suddenly seemed to pass slower than seconds, because out of nowhere, there he was infront of her. Lights from the mall helped him shine brightly in those favourite dull colours of hers. Only parted by few centimeters, a perfect 110 degrees turn was made but felt as if it took a long whole calming day.

Gazes locked on each other and the key was well hidden for a moment. Separately but together, sharing the same path till he was ahead of her, recalling the steps to breathe.

"Look behind, that girl!" whispered to his friend, little did he knew she was already taken in by his presence.

His friend did.

That's the last minute we would appear in each's life, she thought when he kept walking ahead. So she thought.

5 minutes passed and he turned around to walk towards the news stand, to the place where she is waiting for her mother.

Oh God, look away, when he passes her.

Her curiosity took control and made her look over the counter, at him with a few thoughts dancing around in her mind. Did his friend gave him a boost of confidence? Maybe it's time for a new pack of cigarettes for him. Daydreaming tore defense down, she was caught red handed by his dark brown eyes. Cheeks were burning red, with a shy smile she quickly looked down.

"Hello."

Another smile. Oh dear. Oh shit. He's going to tell me there's a hole in my top. Fuck it!

"I know this sounds weird or even may be creepy, but I felt something good when we had our moment there. If it's okay, I hope, I mean, I would like to get to know you," he said nervously with a crooked smile.

Silence was her reply, she was overwhelmed. Tried picking out the right words to be presented to him but not even a shadow of an alphabet popping up.

His left eye twitched with doubt, "Oh err.. I aaa.. I'm sorry to have bothered you. I thought, well.. nevermind. Have a nice day though!"

"Wait! Hold on for a second." She carelessly takes out her phone and hand it over to him. It almost kiss the floor but his right hand became it's landing pillow.

"Oh God thank you! Sorry! I'm not well coordinated,"
"By the way weird and creepy are kind of my thing. So why not." Finally, her lips gave way to her voice!

Smiles exchanged, eyes locked, again. Hearts melted, warmth shared when he handed back her phone.

"For a second there thought I was making things up," he let out a small laugh, relieved he was for he was certain a fool he was not.

"Believe me, you weren't the only one," she chuckled, still nervous. She never had been approached, not by an adorable stranger she's been exchanging gazes and smiles with. Maybe Malaysians are more insecure than the Westerns, in case they gets rejected, or worse getting few curses in reply. Or maybe they just need to grow a bigger pair of balls.

"I might as well just introduce myself. Adam Daniel." Hands officially greeted, "Hi, I'm Luna Ramona."
